The Chamber uses VoterVOICE®, an online tool that simplifies the grassroots communication process at the local, state and federal levels.
As a businessperson, VoterVOICE® allows you to communicate directly with your elected officials on issues that are of importance to you. Registration is very simple and only needs to be done the first time you enter the site. We use VoterVOICE® throughout the year to gather your opinion on pertinent issues, which we then communicate with our elected officials so that our membership is heard.
VoterVOICE® allows the Chamber to contact our members who register on this service about issues that directly affect them. The Chamber e-mails registrants to explain the issue at hand, and enables you to directly contact your elected official. The technology allows the Chamber and its members to highlight their positions, and to quickly and easily bring them to the attention of local, state, and federal legislators.
The system also allows us to keep you apprised of how your representatives vote. We are able to track the voting records of our local, state and federal officials in a “scorecard” format that you can refer to when voting at election time.
The VoterVOICE® system is able to correctly match you with your respective local, state, and federal representatives when you input your home and business addresses upon registration. Please note that the Chamber and VoterVOICE® do not sell your contact information to any third party; it remains confidential within the VoterVOICE® system.
We trust that you will find this a useful tool to become both more informed and more active regarding issues that directly affect you so that your voice is heard.
